Reporting from the White House Clean Energy Investment Summit

On June 16, Sunfolding had the honor of participating in the White House Clean Energy Investment Summit, where the Obama Administration announced $4B in commitments from universities, impact investors, and family foundations to support clean energy innovation. 

Sunfolding showcased its novel solar tracking technology to Administration staff and officials in the morning and then CEO Leila Madrone joined Dr. Ellen Williams, the new ARPA-E director, in a panel discussion on the challenges of commercializing new renewable energy technologies. Capping off a momentous day, Leila was selected to introduce Vice President Joe Biden for his closing remarks at the Summit.
